Meet Kristen
Kristen works with individual clients of all ages in a therapeutic setting at the Conifer Counseling office. Kristen’s approach to therapy surrounds a person-centered, holistic approach. She incorporates evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and neurofeedback to support each client’s unique path to healing. Kristen is eager to support mental health in the mountain community through her work with Conifer Counseling.
Kristen comes to Conifer Counseling with a strong background in education and holds a M.Ed. She lived and worked in various countries for 15 years as an International Educator. While living abroad in Southeast Asia, Kristen pursued the world of various Eastern therapies including yoga, mindfulness meditation, Thai therapies, and Ayurveda. Kristen has worked toward integrating all of her past experiences and trainings into her therapeutic work with clients.
