Meet Jessica

As a person who has experienced a variety of adversity, I understand the importance of support and community. I also organically have played listening and helping roles throughout my life. My passion is to help others who have had difficulty in development, navigating their daily lives, and in their personal identity.

Prior to entering my educational career in social work, I took time in nature to connect to myself, to better understand others and their behaviors, so that I could better teach others to embrace themselves rather than condemn. While pursuing my Bachelor Degree in Psychology, I participated in my own healing journey and decided to continue my education toward becoming a therapist. I moved to the foothills of Colorado and learned about Clinical Social Work. I realized that the broad and flexible approach in social work was a perfect fit for me. I obtained my Master of Social Work at the University of Denver and have been working in Conifer and Evergreen since.

I am a systemic therapist, who looks at the entire environment of a person and how that molds and impacts them. I am eclectic in my modalities but have a propensity for Cognitive Behavioral approaches. I create a peaceful and serene space for us to be honest with each other in the therapeutic relationship. I utilize the mind and body approach for us to understand the wholeness of a person.
